About the band
Alexander Folterbauer from Tyrol and Wolf Ratz from Vienna are two singer-songwriters dedicated to the dialect chanson. Supported by the Colombian accordion virtuoso Juan Carlos Paniagua, they combine folk, chanson, Viennese song, and Austropop, creating a musical bridge between Vienna and Latin America.
Since 2023, the singer Elvira Maria Kalev has joined the trio, bringing an increased focus on Latin American songs in their program. Their music is characterized by sensual ballads, personal lyrics, and dreamy melodies that address themes of love, romance, melancholy, and socially critical content.
